After receiving NVC case n° and IIN we have to wait??

Hi guys, on december we have receipt a NVC case number and Invoice Identification Number, we gave our e mail to NVC and they were told to wait about 20days to receive an e mail with the next step to take.

So my question is, we have to wait for their e-mail for complete forms DS260&261 and pay AOS? or we can pay right now?

you are cr1 visa ? i was seen in your time line that it take almost 2 year to aproval from usics thats long time really

if you have your nvc case # and IIN number you shoul dbe able to log in.. first you will have to fill out ds261..then pay aos fee..

What happens when you log into the portal? You should be invoiced by now for the AOS with the DS-261 there maybe.

if you can log into the portal AND see the AOS invoice,

by all means pay it.

The 'next thing' you are waiting on, I think, is the AOS fee bill email.

I can't sign in, when I try I see this message:

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

OMG guys I can sign in today!!!!! I'm sooooo happy!!! when I sign in appear to me this:

OMG!!! So I can complete the DS-261?? and pay tha AOS fee? If yes I'm so happy!!!! another question, the AOS fee, I can pay ( I'm the beneficiary) or this must be paid by my husband?

Anyone who has money in there account can pay. Long as its drawn from a US bank account you are good to go. US government just wants their money. LOL Congratulations.

What I mean is anyone with a bank account can log on for you and pay. It doesn't have to be the petitioner or Beneficiary. Just a bank account with money in it.

Many do this like if they are living abroad and have family or friends go to the portal log in and pay.
