CEAC changed to "Ready"

Hey guys my CEAC tracking number just changed from In Transit and it says:

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

Now I already have all my papers and documents prepared and I've sent off my DS-160 and have the confirmation printed, I have the medical scheduled for Thursday (this thursday the 9th), does this mean once I've had the medical I can make an interview appointment or will I have to wait for a letter to come through?

As I've just explained in another thread:

First off, the Readiness thing is an online form found here: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/notification_of_applicant_readiness_form.html - You can fill that in after you've had your appointment on the 9th.

London will then book your interview themselves and send you a letter to confirm, though given London seems to be losing letters frequently at the moment it's a safer bet to be checking your CEAC status on a regular basis - once the "Case Updated" field changes, ring the Department of State and ask what the update was for. If it's your interview date, they'll give it to you over the phone there and then,

Once you have your interview date and time, you then go and pay the visa fee on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv.

To clarify, London won't book your interview date until they have the results from Knightsbridge Doctors and the Readiness form submitted.

Once you medical is done and they have your paperwork which you say you have sent, London will schedule your interview appointment, you don't make one.
