Some timeline details for the upcoming interviews.

My interview was on January 22nd and visa was approved on the spot.

On CAEC website it showed "Issued" next day (Jan 23rd). The AP time lasted only for few hours.

Today January 28th we got notification that the passport has been sent via courier service. I will let you know as soon as I have passport on hand.

And today Wed 29th passport arrived with visa inside.

They also sent my original documents back and leaflet on how to pay USCIS visa fee.

No sealed enveloppe so I suppose it is sent electronicaly.

Hi y’all

Is there anyone who had their medical exam on January 7th and their interview on the 8th?

If so, have you received your tracking number or your passeport and when?

Is the returning passeport a « remise en main propre » or is it left in the mailbox by the courier services?

Im asking because my status is still showing « ready » on the CEAC website.

Thank you for your answers.

It was deposit in the mailbox.

Hi guys ,

I need  help .  my husband filled out taxes for 2019 and did so through H&R Block which despite the information given (Married submitting separately) made him single.  he was not able to check before payment and the tax preparer said that everything was ok according to what had been submitted.  We’ve  been talking to them for 3 days and they haven't found a solution.  they did wait  now for information from IRS to request an amendment but it could take weeks.  I was approved by NVC on 23/01 and I am waiting for my IL.  but I probably won't have all the papers at the time of the interview due to their mistake.  has anyone ever had this problem.  ?  I despair .  there is still a problem and after 18 months of waiting already I do not want my visa to be refused or to be in AP for someone else's mistake.  Thanks for your help

oui j’ai la poisse ...

Little update

H&R Block provides us a statement explaining they made a mistake by filling my husband tax transcript as single instead of married and that they wait in IRS to release the form for amendment and as soon its available they gonna fix their mistake so. I am relieved 😅

Hi VJ family 👋

ok here is my question .
Is anybody’s have an idea on “when” I can expect my IL ?
i see some cases who received it within a week or so . I am at 15 days and waiting ( yes I have no more patience after 18 months + I agree)

i ask myself if there is a backlog for that too right now ?

Because after the  IL we have to wait (again) for the interview .

i just want that to end ..

thank you for your answers And sorry for the complaint 😞

Hello French-US fellows,

Hope you are well - wherever you are.

I was wondering who is still on the line to being DQ. I have submitted my documents last Monday (Feb3rd) so at the beginning of that long step.

Take care,

Alix :)

Hello everyone !!

small question for those who already had the interview in  Paris .

do I have to bring translations of my birth certificate , marriage certificate as they are in French ?

because I see in the embassy website that I have to bring translations . I am a little bit confused .

i didn’t submit translations to NVC .

i submit translations at USCIS in 2018 for my I130

thank you for your answers 😀
