Congrats girls!

Just want to complain a little lol! I keep checking the ceac website and my status is still on AP since 16/09 and I'm scared that it lasts forever lol! We didn't wait enough in the K1 process apparently haha! Patience is not my best quality xD!

Congratulations!!! That’s great news! My fiancé’s K1 visa is scheduled August 5. It’s been canceled twice already so hopefully it doesn’t get canceled this time.

Check my timeline also the consulate did not let us know the status of the visa after been issued!! No tracking no nothing... My baby is home as of last night. We booked a flight a few hours after it was delivered for the next day under $600 dollars. So crazy! and if you guys need to save some money and want to see lots of flight options check out Kiwi.com It is really the best site I have used for tickets ever, and I have travel some... I would tell you to relax but that didnt work for us when we were told to chill LOL

Lol thank you! I've been issued since yesterday now! And we booked a ticket for October 6th so I hope I'll get my passport before that day ^^!

Now I'm on the other side as well, waiting again haha hoping to be able to make a flight on oct 18 but we shall see if I receive the visa before that to be able to book it ?

I have my medical in two weeks ☺ Is the cost for Dr Jolly still 180 ? Does she accept payment by cash or check ?

It feels amazing having to know we will be with our loved ones really soon anyway

Just found this thread. My girlfriend and I plan on moving to the USA soon as well. What parts of France are you from or your SO is from? My girlfriend is from Nice in the south. Also how did you guys meet each other? It's crazy that there are so many US-French couples on this board.

Salut!

My husband is from Basse-Normandie. We met online in a discussion about Daft Punk, where we found out we had lots of other things in common as well. Didn't take long for us to fall for each other. We were long distance for a few years, meeting every few months in either France, the USA, or Canada. After that, I lived with him in France. Now we're back in the states, thankfully done with the K1 visa and AOS. :)

Wow congrats! Bordeaux is incredibly beautiful (well most of France is). Where are you deciding to live in the USA?

But I met my girlfriend when she was studying abroad in the USA. She couldn't find a work visa afterwords so we decided to compromise and move to a place where we could both speak English and get decent jobs, so I've been in Prague now for 4 years. It's great here!
