Travel document or Advance Parole?

Hi, Im about to fill the form I-131, I entered to the US as a K1 holder and got married 15 days ago, I have my son in Mexico and need to visit him often thats why I need a travel document, but not sure if i should ask for a travel document or advance parole, whats the diference?

I would really apreciate if somebody could help me.

Actually, advance parole is the same thing as the travel document, ie: you apply for advance parole, and if it is approved, you get a travel document. Good luck!

I know that in case of emergency, you can go to the local office and ask for an AP. But you need to prove that it is an emergency...
