My fiancee has never been to the USA. Item #25 asks for an A # . On my NOA2 there is an A# right above her name in the beneficiary line. Do I tell her to put that one in and put in the times as never?

We put never, and did not put the A# on the form since the lines are referring to prior visit cases, not the current one.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

YuAndDan,

That would be a mistake, but not a significant mistake. The question asks for the visa applicant's A#, the visa applicant has an A# as a result of a visa petition having been filed for them, the A# should be provided. A#s are not attached to entries to the USA, they are attached to USCIS case files.

No big deal if it's not provided, however. The consulate has the approved petition and file, so they know the A# and will fill it in themselves.

(Might be a big deal if there had been any previous cases with unsavory aspects attached to them, however, and the A# was not provided but the link was otherwise uncovered.)
