(" Why don't you get a full time job, save the money for your wife's airline ticket, so maybe she doesn't have to worry about being off work due to having to pay to come visit HER HUSBAND. I see so many men come on here saying my WIFE can't afford this, can't afford that, well why can't these men pay for their wives to come to them???. Seriously "))))))))

1) you can try for the tourist visa of course. If you are looking for regional experiences you are best off to look at them in your REGIONAL forum. I never had a problem visiting my husband but I also don't require a visa to do so.

2) you are being VERY rude. Someone is wishing you best of luck but trying to make sure you do not get your hopes up. People do it ALL THE TIME!!! They apply for an immigrant visa and then go to visit and decide to adjust their status instead. It happens quite frequently. There was a Canadian beneficiary who did JUST THAT not too long ago because they felt their petition was taking too long. Sure they can say that they didn't have the intention to stay but really? It's the CBP's decision however to let them in, not mine, and once they're in, it's on the USCIS to prove they lied at the border. One day you'll see that Canadians will need visas to visit the USA too. So your argument is invalid. While it's legal to adjust status from a tourist visa, it will be very hard for high fraud countries, like yours, to get tourist visas, with a USC spouse. Do not blame anyone else except the people from your country who made it harder on you. It's not Dwheels fault, she simply doesn't want you to get too excited if it doesn't work out but I can tell you she'd be the first to cheer you on if you made it!

I do wish you the best of luck. We all know how hard it is to not be able to visit with your spouse. Your wife likely can take time off work she just won't be paid for it. To some people that means they don't take time off because they need their job to support themselves. Why don't you get a job and send money to your wife so that she can afford to take time off work that's unpaid to come visit you? Just a thought? You don't have to, it's your choice, but I know my husband paid for all but one of my trips to see him and all of the immigration fees even when he wasn't working.

Yes mme i understand u so clearly , but morocco has a strong relation with The USA we can see that by the present of our king in the USA recently + the afro americain congress was in morocco 4 days ago + we have The longest relationship with the USA sense 1777

It's not from the relationship . it's from what does moroccans did when they get the'yre tourist visa i admit that a lot of them get it and never come back . YES THATS TRUE

But it's not like i want a tourist visa to go sit there while i'm legulay have the right to stay with my wife wich we are pending Two visas "Cr1" and "K3" that shows that i don't need a tourist visa to live illugaly why i will do that ? Do u know what i'm saying

+ the law of the company that my wife work with pays only for one week of break in the Year . so my wife didn't get paid in that month and one week off

. So now it's not about her taking a break it's about if she want to take break they will fire her

I'm telling u ur so lucky to go visit ur husband but me and my wife were in pain for like 3 months now . i know a lot of people wait more and more

but seriously i can't just stay waiting what if the processing takes One year . then i won't be able to see her for the hall year

that's what i'm going to say to consuler . Hopefully i get it to see my wife

And thank u so much for the informations smile.png

I'm sorry to tell you that you be forced to wait for 11 to 12 months! This is the normal time for waiting! I can understand your feelings right now, but we were all forced to wait ! I have been waiting for 11 months and hopefully I'm having my interview soon! ... After 3 months of waiting , I got fed and needed to give up!

I got separated from my wife 9 days after our wedding! I was already missing here the following not; but I kept we kept our heads up!! This is the procedure and you have to wait!!

One more thing, I think you're lucky receiving all these pieces of orientation and advice! I could post but people wouldn't answer! I was feeling abandoned... You can do better from benefiting from people of Visajourney without consulting a lawyer!

I thought we wouldn't come without a lawyer, but we are doing well learning from people from visajourney!!!

It's ironic to use the word high-fraud countries, since after joining this forum, I have seen people from european countries with visa waiver program and canadians are the ones who really abuse the visa-free system and use it to abuse it. I can forsee that raising red flags with USCIS in near future.

I agree. I am extraordinarily annoyed whenever I see or know about Canadians who abuse the system.

Not to be rude, but your chances of getting a tourist visa are very slim. You probably would have a better chance of visiting the moon star_smile.gif If I were you I would take advantage of your free time now and prepare for that special day....the interview. Many folks here can tell you, including myself, that the Moroccan Consulate is a tough one.

This whole no-visit-visa-for-high-fraud countires, have-to-prove-ties can be easily fixed by completely eliminating any kind of adjustment of status from visiting visa, VWP, no-visa-Passport-only-travel. No one should be allowed to adjust using visit visa (B1/b2). If you "all-of-sudden-fall-in-love" while visiting US after living your whole life in your own homeland, then fine, get married, leave, wait outside. There is nothing inhuman in that. The whole "proving-visit-with-no-intend-to-marry" is a joke.

That's the part I don't understand. By filing the petition we have show our intent to immigrate LEGALLY. Why would we waste the time and money already spent to live illegally for the rest of our lives?

Because the process can take a long time, and some people get tired of the wait and just think they can decide to do whatever they want.
