hey vj family, my interview is on Thursday 9th.... am scared coz my fiance file a petition in 2011 and then along the way we got misunderstandings and we left the petition hanging till it expired, my sister who lives in US got a school for me and i applied for a student visa which was denied... i am worried they will ask about out first petition... anyone who has been at Nairobi embassy recently for k1 interview??? please share your experience and what you were asked..... thanx in advance

Yes they will ask about your previous petition and student visa application, but that doesn't mean you cannot get approved. Are there any other red flags (big age or religious differences etc)? How often have you and your fiance met since 2011 and for how long each time? Will the US fiance be at the interview?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

yes we have an age difference and we been together for 3years now.... he was here with me 8months back before he filed the petition and no he wont be able to make it here for the interview....

his been here 8months back before he filed the petition and he stayed for two weeks, we have an age difference of 25years..
