Merry Christmas to all who celebrate and happy Monday for those who don't. :) Ok so when does one EVER get to say Happy Monday??? :jest:

Going to the ex's house to pick up the kiddo's in a little bit, then it's off to a very tense Christmas at my sisters and then i'm off to Cairo. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

There is only one other Algerian that lives in our town. We have been friends for about 10 years. His mom came from Algeria to stay a month with him and she will go to Canada to stay a month with her daughter. Anyway, we went to see them last night and meet his mom. She has been cooking all sorts of Algerian sweets. She prepared some tea and served Hachemi and I some of the cookies and cakes. Hachemi was in Heaven. She is going to cook a traditional Algerian meal and invite us to come. mmmm, cant wait. :thumbs:

Thanks guys. Just got back and suprisingly no one caused a scene at my sisters house. My ex picks me up in an hour and a half. Was worried about the kids and how they would do during this wait but one is playing with her Polly Pocket cruise ship and the other is putting make up on. lol HOpe my luck runs out the rest of the hour and a half!!!

I"m so tired. Can't wait to sleep on the plane. When I checked in last night I didn't realize this but I sat myself in a world traveler plus seat, even though I'm only a world traveler class. HOpe they don't figure that out when I go to sit down! :whistle:

Oh and Melly I honestly don't know if I'll be a married woman. Usama said he went to get his id all set and they told him Thursday at the earliest, so insha Allah it will happen then but if not then everything will be closed for Eid for a while so it may not happen at all, in which case we'll just apply for the K-1. I cried about it this morning but you know it is in God's hands now so whatever is meant to happen will happen. :)

I'm not sure what kind of internet access she'll have when she's in Egypt or even if she does, if she'll want to spend the time checking in here.

I keep hoping she'll find a internet thingy while on her layover in London to let us know how she is.

I think that's where she's at now but I'm not positive.
