SPF says that an applicant must show documentary proof from the relevant consulate/immigration authority/government authority which clearly indicates that the production of the COC is required. I haven't heard of SPF accepting NOA2 as documentary proof for COC application, but I haven't really looked into the IR1/CR1 process, so I may be wrong. Most people use the NVC checklist to apply. I would wait for that. If she's applying in person and picks it up in person, the turnaround time is about 3 weeks/15 business days for non-citizens.

I have been trying to get the request letter from USEM for a month now and am banging my head against the wall. USEM relplied to my first email with a bot saying they will answer me in 7 business days. The answer never came. So I called them and the person there knew nothing and could only tell me to send another email. I did. That was two weeks ago, and that one did not even get the bot to acknowledge the email.

In other words, USEM thinks I don't exist. I wonder where they think the $240 I paid them for my fiance's interview came from?

I am a day or two away from getting my Congress Member invovled. This is riduculous. They demand the police clearance letter but pretend they hear nothing when i ask them to take a minute or two to send the request letter they know for a fact I need.

Suggestion: Try asking in the Manila subforum as well. There are a lot of OFWs from the Philippines who have previous work experience in Singapore and have had to obtain the COC from abroad.

As I mentioned to you in your other thread, most Filipinas working in SG have no problem getting SPF to accept the checklist in packet 3, which you can print out. But since you prefer waiting for the USEM request letter, those who have applied for the COC from Manila might be able to help. Best of luck.

Hello Seniors,

I am filling COC application form (for Singapore). I was at Singapore in 2007 and so need policy clearance from there. While filling up the COC application form, its asks me few thing on which I am bit confused. The points are as follows

1. Under "Personal Data" section - Salary (PM) - What salary shall I mention here. Shall I mention my current salary, but my current salary is in not in SGD or shall I mention the salary which I was earning in Singapore when I was there.

2. Under "Reason for Application" section - Date of Departure- What date shall I enter here?

3. Since I am not a singapore citizen or PR I shall not be filling Part C and D of the application. Please confirm.

Thanks,

Tutu
