Our interview went very well in Philadelphia. We met with the officer for no longer than 2 minutes as she went through just the application form to verify all info and then proceeded to say she was not sure why were were there and that I will receive my card in the next few weeks. Waiting patiently since I am sure the holidays are not helping to speed things up :)

They just walk in with bio letter and center accepts it if there is less crowd on that day , just 'try and succeed' theory.

The nail-biting is over! We received the new green cards for Olga and Kirill yesteday! We were all quite pleased to see an expiration date of January 2025 on the cards! :)

Work on the N-400 filing has already comenced.

We have our fingers crossed for everyone who is still waiting.

I have a question- can i fill out the paper work to "removing condition" earlier , for example not 3 months prior to expiration date of my greencard but 7-8 months earlier in case i have to go to my home country and stay there long.

Nope, You can not filed earlier than 90 days before. IF you do, uscis will reject will application and return the package back to you.
