sorry if this is common knowlage but how are people doing early biometrics? are they just voluntary walk ins or some kind of military fast track?

They just walk in with bio letter and center accepts it if there is less crowd on that day , just 'try and succeed' theory.

I just checked our case status online, and card production was ordered on 5/21! I thought we signed up for email notifications, but we didn't get one.

01/05/2012 - change of address to PO Box since we seemed to not be getting the letters
01/11/2012 - hard copies of NOA for I-131, I-765 and I-131 (FINALLY)
01/24/2012 - biometrics letter for I-485 and -I765 in mail, appointment 02/02/2012
01/31/2012 - successful walk-in biometrics
03/06/2012 - EAD and AP approved, card production ordered

Alrighty, I'm still on the ##@&^!! initial review :sleepy:

So either my papers are in some dusty corner, misplaced and forgotten in the wonder land of piles and piles of files ... or I should be prepared to expect the stupid RFE..

Soo, just in case, I ordered our tax returns for 2013 already. So IF a RFE comes, at least we don't have to wait for the tax transcript as well.

Argh! I'm SO done with waiting - going to eat ice cream now!

My RFE response was delivered last week on Friday so I will wait for a couple more days before calling them. I guess you need to call them to see if they did send out a RFE letter or something. Don't trust the tracking status on website. My page shows nothing new until now (Initial Review) even I received a RFE and RFE response was received.

Thanks so much for telling about your case (especially that your page doesn't show RFE, even though you got an RFE!!) - maybe I'll call tier 2 again soon and check if they have any better knowledge what happening to my case! I didn't get a RFE so far, but as it's taking so long I'm starting to be prepared that there's a chance RFE might be on it's way :dead:
