WOOOOOOOOOOT!!! Congrats!

Good news here as well, just checked the website (didn't sign up for email updates this time around) and saw this:

On May 15, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hoping this wasnt some glitch in the system and we are actually not going in for an interview. I was her eon a J1 when I met my husband and we adjusted directly from that, so we were sure they were gonna make us come in.

Congrats Ines1987!

So I received the email saying my new card was mailed yesterday, however like Huy-le there's no tracking #. No # either on the website.

I'll wait until Monday and if I don't receive it by then, I'll call to get the tracking #.

Where do the cards come from? If they come from CSC in Laguna Niguel I could have it tomorrow...

When do they say they mailed it to you? In my experience, it was May 2 and I got it 2 days later. I guess they typically mail at the end of that day so the mails will actually go out the next day and arrive at destinations in the following day. If they say they mailed your card today, chances are that you will get it by Monday.

It will be straight from Laguna Niguel in a priority flat rate envelope. Watch out for the orange/red mail.

I received the email this morning early, but it says they mailed my card on May 15, so yesterday.

Laguna Niguel is only 70 miles from where I live and the mail usually arrives the next day (like when I sent my ROC application on 01/15 and CSC received it on 01/16), so I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow!

Thanks for your help Huy_le!

In that case you may even receive it today! I live up north so it surely takes longer to send mails.

You are welcome! I am very happy to share. We are all in this long, enduring venture together so sharing will make it easier - I believe so. Hopefully we will be sharing again in the next few months when our citizenships are due!

Called USCIS this morning and talked to the supervisor/ tier 2.. There was no RFE, no forgotten second biometrics needed (I was concerned that somehow I would have missed a letter to come and do my fingerprints again as the first time they had to really push my fingers and most of my fingers didn't do a good job with getting their surface "printed" :P ), so nothing to be aware of, at least according to the current info.

So I just got the slow chap working on my file I guess :sleepy:

But Laure, thanks so much for the tier 2 info! I called USCIS, didn't press any buttons, got transferred to the spanish line, said I don't speak spanish and basically got through really easy! Also the supervisor seemed to be available straight away so didn't even need to wait a call back! AND thanks for keeping your fingers crossed...hopefully I'm on the approved list soon.

What's the phone number to call USCIS?

I want to check that there's no issues in the system with my biometrics and I can continue waiting for the VSC!

See, it really looks like ROC processing is not standard. Some people approved early, others later, some receiving approval letters on plain white paper, others not receiving one at all, some get a tracking #, others don't....

If there's any logic in this, my card should be coming from Laguna Niguel like Huy-Le's, since we both didn't get a tracking #. We'll see!

You are right, there seems to be no logic.

Got the email of approvel on 4/17, the approval letter and card/production email on 4/21, and email with tracking # on 4/22. This was my tracking:

The USCIS will never stop surprising me... I received a SECOND email notification today that USPS picked-up my card, the tracking # was missing in the mail but was available in my case status on the uscis website. Card is coming from Corbin, KY, and sent as priority 2-day mail, so I should have it by Monday. It's currently in TN, hoping to see it take a supersonic flight to San Diego like Zara_'s did

And today I also received my noa2, the letter saying the removal of conditions was approved. :goofy:

Sad news, I just received the RFE for 2013 tax and older lease agreement :-( When I sent the I-751 we hadn't filed tax yet. I was careless enough to not send older lease. We are living same roof which my in-laws, I have notarized affadvit of communal residence from my father-in-law. I will send out all they need next week following:

  • Original Request for Evidence letter.
  • 2013 Federal and Arizona State joint tax returns.
  • 2011, 2012, 2013 joint tax transcripts.
  • Notarized Affidavit of Communal Residence by my father-in-law from Oct 1, 2012 until now.
  • Copy of Residential Lease Agreement of our previous residence from Oct 1, 2011 to Sept 30, 2012.
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Certificate of Health Coverage with all copies of continuous bill statements, renewed insurance cards from Feb 2012 until now with no gap period.
  • Copies of continuous Vehicle Insurance policies and payment statements from Jan 2012 until now with no gap period.
  • Copies of previous Internet Cable provider statements.

I explained in cover letter that I couldn't add my spouse on my bank because he has bad overdraft record with them and they refused to put him on my account. On my I-751 package, I sent following:

  • Copies of the passports and green cards.
  • Copies of driver licenses of us.
  • List of addresses I have resided since I am a permanent resident.
  • Two sworn affidavits by U.S. citizens, confirming our relationship and marriage.
  • Copies of the tax statements (Federal and AZ State) for 2011 and 2012.
  • Copy of the joint ownership title of our car. (we sold our old car back in July 2013, new one dated Aug 2013 and they said it too recent.)
  • Copies of joint Geico auto insurance card and payment notification. (current policy only)
  • Copies of joint AZ AAA auto service cards and account summary.
  • Copies of joint AZ BCBS health insurance card and bills. (3 recent bills, I should have sent all bills which I will do next week.)
  • Copies of Bank of America statements. The bank doesn’t let me to put my spouse name on my account because my spouse has an overdraft history with them.
  • Family pictures at different occasions.

Could you all have a look at my RFE and tell me if I need something else? Any inputs will be more than helpful to me. Thank you.
