I still haven't heard anything from USCIS, still in initial review and no RFEs etc (at least so far)! Starting to get really annoyed and wondering if they've lost my file AND I'm in CA service center so it really shouldn't be taking this bloody long!!

Anyways, getting mentally ready that there's a chance my 10 year GC might still be pending when I'm filing citizenship end of Dec 2014. Gosh, what a headache this is!! And definitely will file service request the first day I'm entitled (July 13th) if haven't heard back from them by then (which feels might be the case)! Aaaarghhhh!!!

VSC's goal for ROC cases is at 6 months so I think you should definitely call them once you are past that date. But it would not hurt to call now and see what they say.

Hello, I'm new to this forum, but I was watching a few threads periodically.

I would like to share my ROC story with you and maybe someone could add me to the table.

I filed my joint ROC on Jan 16 to Vermont office (I live in Boston),

NOA1 date Jan 21st, Bio apt on Feb 17th, and then yesterday (Jun 9th) I received the approval (date of decision Jun 5th)

My case is nothing special, no military nothing.

I had never received the transfer notice, however, my case got approved pretty fast for a Vermont filer and my decision letter was signed by Boston officer, so I assume it was processed locally.

As we see, none of the Jan filers got transferred to CA yet (like it happened with Dec ppl). It could be that Vermont deals with its backlog by sending cases to local offices (no notifications).

I wish everyone who is waiting to get your approvals soon without any problems and delays!

While reading through the November files looks like some of them are still waiting. This is really disappointing.

A post recommended that when calling to ask for a service request to be filed and sent to the service center. I plan on calling this week.

I also received a notice stating that my Green Card was extended 1 full year from date of notice (around March). Incidentally I was to travel outside of the country in July. However my green card would have been expired by then so I called and verified that I would be allowed to re-enter the US and I was to carry that letter with me when traveling. Today (June 13, 2014) I received an email stating that my card was in process.

YAY! FINALLY!! Could some sweet soul please add me on the approved list!!

On June 17, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375

Interesting is that we just moved and I changed our address few days ago in the USCIS system..got reply yesterday that they've updated our address AND then today, finally, card on it's way! So somehow having a funny feeling that they just put our file in some dusty corner and once the address change needed to be made, they suddenly realized the file in the dusty corner oh well, I'm happy!
