I went to an infopass appointment today (which was recommended by the agent from the NSC that is spoke to the oher day), to see about the mising NOA1 letter. They were running over an hour behind, and I basically waited for nothing... Since my GC hasn't expired yet, they wouldn't stamp my passport and they couldn't reissue the letter (which is what I was told they would do when I called the hotline). So the guy only put in a request for the letter to be resend... Hopefully I'll get it this time.

While I was in Denver, I also did a walk-in for my biometrics,I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Glad that's out of the way and I don't have to drive the two hours again just for that... Now we wait...

No Biometrics Appointment letter yet. Our NOA1 was dated Jan. 28. Others seem to have received theirs so quickly. Is this normal? Our case is being processed through the California Service Center.

I would suggest calling the help line. Based on how everyone else's timelines look, it's entirely possible that the letter got lost in the mail. http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us

It's unusual, but I've seen 1 CSC filer had an interview before Bio date here in ROC forum before...

Looks like CSC has slowed down considerably: a couple months ago people were getting approved around 2 months after biometrics. Now only 1 November filer has been approved sleepy.gif

NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

Okay, a little background .... I (Charles) am indeed active duty military and have orders to report to Sicily by March 15th. So in the ROC package (for Erica) I did include my orders, copies of my military ID, Erica's dependent ID, fingerprint cards and passport-size photos (even though we still received a scheduled biometrics appointment and completed that on Feb 14th) and wrote "Active Duty Military" across the top of the application. I also had an official Final Will and Testament and Power of Attorney giving all power and control of all assets to Erica while I spent 7 months in Afghanistan last year, amongst all the other proof we sent in. As far as the Service Center goes, we lived in Florida(VSC) when applying for K-1 and AOS, but changed our address to Wisconsin(CSC) for ROC until we leave the USA on March 11th to be stationed in Sicily for the next 3 years. Hoping & Praying the journey is quick and pain-free for all our many friends on here!!
