help! i just want to know if the previous annuled marriage would somehow affect my current petition. I was married to a filipina before but the marriage didnt work out. i filed for an annulment 19998 and was granted 1999. She never appeared on the court since she already took off prior to the filling and I was left with no idea whre my ex wife was. Her mother is actually the one who counter signed the papers in behalf of her. Im just really worried this might be a question to the USCIS and it'll affect our petition. My fiancee nad I has child already and he is already an American citizen.

No it will not affect your case in any way. They will need a copy of the annulment documentation to show that you are able to marry.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You will have to mention that you were married before in your paperwork, and present the previous certificates of divorce/marriage/annulments what have you etc. Does it affect the petition sure--does that mean you won't have your current petition granted--no. Just submit the paperwork with the required documentation support. That's all you can do--as what's happened has happened and you can't change the past.

However just curious did you also sponsor your "ex-wife" on a K-1 or K-3 or whatever type of visa before? If so you are probably technically still responsible for her financially. So that could affect your financial support documentation. But again just submit the paperwork with the documentation and think positive.

you definitely need your previous marriage certificate for the interview and any other paperwork about the disolution of the marriage eg, divorce papers. It's in the packet 3 instructions that the embassy sends you.

Good luck with your journey! :)

uh I'm a little confused. You had an ex wife and now your fiancee is a 'he' (maybe just a typo) AND you said they are an american citizen???? Are you the petitioner or beneficiary??
