like i mentioned to Sha...have the usc make an info pass appt. bring everything you need to that appt to justify there is no need for further delay....be pleasant in your demeanour and simply state why you are there and that you seek clarity as to why such a delay, and seek information as to what you can do if anything to speed things up. start making a list of questions to ask to be sure you have asked everything prior to your appt with the officer. bring all your correspondence from uscis and i-130 application just in case the officer wishes to see more. in our case 2x the officer was also the unit supervisor and we were able to get more information from him with our questions, and with our questions he then wanted greater info from us. it was handy having all our info present. each situation is different. best to be prepared.

Thank you mrs thb, have you ever sent an email to CIS Ombudsman? What was there response are they helpful? I just made appt with the Info Pass.

Sure just go to this website www.infopass.gov then click the “schedule your apt with infopass here”, and it will guide you thru! let know how it went.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say hello! I cannot believe how frstrating this process has been- putting our lives on hold for almost a year and all we are being told is "keep waiting." :(

We filed Jan 29 2014, and i am hoping this process is almost over! We are at almost 4 months at the NVC, and almost a year since we filed our petition.

Has anyone's case been approved? I need some happy stories.
