Thank you!!! It was looking like he wasn't going to make it. I purchased his flight once CEAC showed issued but then they never sent us the visa pick up info. It took almost a week and a half to find out where the visa was.

All we can do is just hang in there. This process is just so draining BUT once we make it through this it seems that the foundations of the union are sound.

Praying that everyone still waiting will have approvals soon.

Hi mstee81,

I’m really happy for you and your husband…finally he’s home for the holiday J

Everyday im checking to see if you got ur NOA2, im praying for u.

That’s so sweet thank you canadiangirl39, I really need all the prayers that I get, today would be the 11 months still no word from USCIS. It’s really depressing I feel like I never going to get an approval, next month would be a year. I just don’t understand what’s all the security check they need from both of us. I did four service request and they all comes the same.

maybe you need to schedule an infopass appt now....service requests are made over the phone and are impersonal. a face to face appt at an infopass appt might have more pull. they did with my experience. we were told at our inteview that it was all the infopass appt (4) that really made them take action on our case. hopefully you have a uscis field office nearby, if not it might be worth the 2-3 hour drive. you need to let uscis know your serious about having your spouse here. an infopass appt proves this!

like i mentioned to Sha...have the usc make an info pass appt. bring everything you need to that appt to justify there is no need for further delay....be pleasant in your demeanour and simply state why you are there and that you seek clarity as to why such a delay, and seek information as to what you can do if anything to speed things up. start making a list of questions to ask to be sure you have asked everything prior to your appt with the officer. bring all your correspondence from uscis and i-130 application just in case the officer wishes to see more. in our case 2x the officer was also the unit supervisor and we were able to get more information from him with our questions, and with our questions he then wanted greater info from us. it was handy having all our info present. each situation is different. best to be prepared.
