I have been waiting for my approval for so long, im starting to forget why im waiitng. Seems so unfair that some of us have to wait so long just to for an approval. I feel so depressed right now. No one is posting anymore makes it worse.

I don't think any January 2014 filers have seen a NOA2 yet. From the forums, it looks like those who filed in October/November 2013 are getting NOA2s and moving along to the NVC stage right now.

I have been waiting for my approval for so long, im starting to forget why im waiitng. Seems so unfair that some of us have to wait so long just to for an approval. I feel so depressed right now. No one is posting anymore makes it worse.

I know how your feeling jan 28th here and NOTHING, not a transfer or RFE no action what's so ever very depressing and now my husband is starting to become depress over this as well..

03/24/15: Case Transferred from VSC to CSC

03/28/15: Hard copy of transfer received in mail

07/02/15: NOA2 ( I-130 Approved) - finally after long wait.

07/13/15: NOA2 (I-130 Approved letter hard copy)

NVC -

The sad thing is they kept saying waiting for background check to clear, how long does it take to do a background check. Both myself and husband have nothing, not even a traffic ticket, and still background check cant get cleared. This all seems so strange.

08/07/2014 ... e-Request response: Security checks still pending
09/15/2014 ... After various requests NSC email received stating that petition is "assigned to an officer" ... Going on 9 months since NOA1
09/24/2014 ... I-130 FINALLY APPROVED!!! ... After 9 months and 1 day
10/15/2014 ... Case shipped to NVC, three weeks after NOA2

I really dont know the reason for our wait. But when i look at your timeline and see that you have been waiting since last year i get even more nervous.

I am also still waiting from Jan 30th. Got a response from my service request saying pending security checks which I see has been the response for mostly anyone waiting from earlier this year/end of last year. I'm just so disheartened and depressed over this stuff, my husband is also getting very depressed over this cause there has just been no movement and the wait is killing us. I have set up an info pass appt. for next Monday the 29th, hoping they will be able to tell me at least something. But I won't get my hopes up for any extra information. :(

I’m also Jan 30th, got a response from e-request saying my case not clear all required security chekcs,Anyone knows how long will it take the security check to be clear? And when does it began after you file the e-request or after the five months.. i feeling very sad and my husband is really sick :( .. Please pray for him thank you!!
