Our petition just got approved today! Nebraska Service Centre. My file is now en-route to the NVC.

We received confirmation of our petition being approved yesterday ?

Now our case status is 'Post Decision Activity'. Does this count as our NOA 2 or will that date be determined by a confirmation that will be mailed to us?

Congrats and good luck with NVC guys

approved today! @ Nebraska

PD 1/13/2014

NOA2 7/23/2014

7 month and 10 days

hang in there!!! it will come!!

i think the reason for mine taking so long is because all the supporting document I submitted have a translated version (in english) AND an original version (home language). So USCIS may need extra time to verify everything.

Also, my documents are all at least 10 years old... so the extra time may delayed my processing...

just letting ya all know!

We are in the same situation. I called back last week and they told me I should hear something by the first week of August,.

Do you have anything special in your case, bcuz on my situation my dad had a ban for 5, of which that time was over long time ago.

There are still a lot us waiting on approvals. My PD is Jan 27 and its kinda upsetting to see NSC jumping all over the place with approvals while so many are still waiting.
