Finally got approved guys. My Noa1 was dated 01/21/14. Approved and sent to NVC 07/14/14. From what I hear for us Canadians, it will take us yet another 6 months from this date to get an interview in Montreal! Halfway there...Yay!

Congrats. Geez it's so frustrating knowing that even after the approval its just as long! I hope we can all be with our loved ones atleast by Christmas. Anyways congrats and best of luck with NVC....Hopefully we see more approvals this week.

You are lucky you were at NSC being an F2-A petition. I've been stuck in Vermont and they are processing September 25th, 2013 cases for F2-A. I don't think I'm going to see the light of an approval anytime this year. I've completely lost faith and hope. Either way the priority date for F2A is no where near current. There should be a separate thread for F2-A VSC since they are so far behind. Why are they the only ones not processing at the 5 month standard?

Pd of 1/21/14 still no approval when will it be approved?? I have seen many approved with this pd already. Why mine is taking longer??

That is a good question, NLZZLN. When you look at the timeline data from this site, it seems there are still a lot of people waiting from even earlier in January. I don't think your petition has been overlooked by any means. Many people are still waiting... I know that doesn't make it any easier as I'm still waiting too.

My bigger concern at the moment is that there are people with a PD in February who were transferred to another service center (ie California) who have already been approved (not expedited cases from what I can tell). It's so hard and I'll try not to get too discouraged about it. This site can be so overwhelming and depressing when you compare too much. :(

I wish you the very fastest approval possible and congratulations to everyone approved so far. May we all be reunited with our loved ones as soon as possible. (L)

Thank you for such a nice reply. Hopefully end of this month i will hear good news. Actually i was thinking to expedite my case since im pregnant now n had 2 miscarriages before, but i stopped myself n thought 1/21/14 is starting to get approvals so hopefully i will get too soon. Did ur petition get approved yet or ur also waiting?
