We got approved today after receiving a message on Friday that they changed our address (which we never did!). Our PD was Jan.7th, so exactly 6 months.

Hubby's birthday is on Wednesday, so this is a great birthday present for him!

Congrats n good luck

Hi rleela,

I think TSC is very strict in all this matter. But we should be happy that at least our case is started for processing. No i didn't get Hardcopy for RFE. I am also waiting. As it is independence week, i think the hardcopy will take little more time to deliver. They send USPS standard mail, So it's delivery time is around 8-10 days. So we should wait. Let me know what they ask for evidence if you get hardcopy.

Thank you, :thumbs::star:

Wishing you speedy approval very soon. Can you please share what the RFE was for ?

So apparently Nebraska has started transferring files as of this morning. oh boy...

Did you call Nebraska and they stated this? Just curious.

Seems like not so long ago the other service centers were transferring a lot to Nebraska. It all makes so much sense...

My PD is January 9th. So I should he able to open a service request now?

This is getting too tiring now. 6 months and no news. My file had one update back in January 17th saying they had changed my alien registration number. Nothing since.

Blah.

USCIS

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

Yes, you can now file a service request since they are claiming to be working on a date past your PD. Most likely its with an officer and awaiting background checks. Keep faith, our time is near!
