NVC is behind now because the USCIS was playing catch up. Seems like each phase is taking 30 days....30 days for case number, 30 days to process AOS, and 30 days for IV/ case complete. Hang in there everyone! We will get through this.

I still did not get the case number from NVC since June 12th (approval from USCIS). Did you receive the case number with invoice number at the same time? I am so tired of this long process.

My I-130 was approved May 29th and the NVC received it the 4th. I called the NVC a few times a week and they told me the case number was issued June 24th but they told me to call back to get the IIN. I have the case number, IIN, and I gave NVC our email addresses but we are still waiting to do anything. NVC has had my file for almost a month now.

After being on hold for almost one hour, a Tier 2 representative told me absolutely nothing new.

She said that Nebraska is still working on Dec 3; what a lie! She also said to wait

44 days (my PD is 17 Jan) since Nebraska is running behind and HOPEFULLY it is approved

by then..This process is so freaking frustrating!!!!!!!

I've accepted that they are behind and all I can do is wait. While I'm waiting I will have AOS and IV documents ready for the next step. This way I won't delay the process futher by having everything I need.

Happy waiting! :)

I called them once and they put me on hold for 10 min and I disconnected the phone. I will try to call them again and talk to someone. It is intresting that you still can not pay the AOS and IV fees while you have the IIN.

Oh my god, 44 more days? I have the same PD as you and I'm also at Nebraska. Over another month. This is so ridiculous. They are so focused on processing work permits for the illegal that they are putting US citizens on the back burner, the ones who are doing things the legal way. Way to go Obama. Seriously one big ### mistake America. I called about two weeks ago and I was told to wait about 6 weeks and they just keep adding time. This is just insane. I might as well book my ticket to India and go spend time with my loved one maybe time will fly then...............anyways goodluck to everyone.............( also knowing that its another three months after we're approved... come on USCIS.. get it together)

I used the wiki and followed the instructions. I have the I-184 and all the supplemental documents ready to mail soon as the AOS bill is paid. I'm only missing my husbands police certificate for the IV package.

Honestly I don't think political views are necessary here, we should be here to support one another, not criticize the president of the USA, thanks :)

Hi everyone. January filer here too...our PD is 21st Jan, with Nebraska, unfortunately! Wow these last 5 months have been hard, does anyone have an idea where Nebraska are upto?? We haven't heard anything yet. Also, I've been told the chances of getting into the USA after applying for I130 are pretty low...anyone experienced this, I'd love to be able to visit my other half for a vacation!
