I received the NOA2 email first then the letter arrived a few days later. I then called a week later to see what day they received my case.

I received the USCIS approval in June 12th via text message and email and received the approval notice letter few days later. The notice mentioned that they forwarded my wife's case to National Visa Center for visa processing. In addition, It mentioned that If I did not hear from National Visa Center after 30 days, I can contact them.

I also called USCIS today and the guy was actually nice compared to the previous people i've spoken to and explained the whole process to me in thorough detail. And my five months passed yesterday and he told me Nebraska is still working on December 3rd and I asked him if its first come first serve how come people at other service centers with other dates are getting approved he said they check where they are at every month and if thats the case and nebraska is still behind they will send applications to other centers to catch up. But he did say that we probably wouldnt hear anything until end of july early august.... what a freakn bummer!!! and then probably another 60 days at NVC until we get an interview date. That means its five months plus another month and half now plus two more months..almost a 9 month process! oh the joys!! NOT! Atleast i know not to check my status for a long while......

oh my god!! me too im 5 months now and any news from Nebraska
