Congratulations to all the approvals! I'm also part of the UK bandwagon, without the approval though. Jan 17th PD but no news from USCIS. I recently moved and changed my address online. A day later I got a text from USCIS and got excited, but it was just confirming the change of address.

Definitely feeling everyone's frustrations. I hope to hear some good news at least this month. 7 days till my 5 month mark. Looking and hoping for good news :-/

Congrats to everyone on the recent approvals. sadly for me they seem to all be coming from centers all except NSC... just happens to be where my files at. geez! & i'm 7 days away from my 5 months. pd jan 17... but i already know it's going to be more than five months.. NSC is barely working on december! Then again they don't even go in any order.... luck of the draw!! The closer it's getting the harder its getting...has anyone called recently to see what pd they are working on?

same PD date :)

2/19/2015 i130 & I485 priority date; already fingerprinted & done the medical

NOA2: 6/10/14
Email that it was shipped to nvc: 6/23/14
Received by NVC: 7/1/14
Case#/IID# assigned: 7/16/14
Received/Submitted DS-261: 7/29/14
Paid AOS fee: 7/30/14
Sent AOS packet: 8/1/14
Aos fee showing PAID: 8/2/14
Received and paid IV Fee: 9/8/14 (fee showing paid / DS-260 available 9/9/14)
Submitted DS-260: 9/11/14
Sent IV packet: 9/24/14
NVC Received 9/26/14

Arrived in US: 3/8/14

STILL HAPPY AND NORMAL AS OF 8/4/2016!!

AOS Approved per phone: 10/22/14
*Received what I thought was a false checklist on this date as well*

*Problems: Called on 10/27/14 11/5/14 and 11/20/14 just to be proactive On all of these dates except the last, NVC kept telling me that my IV document probably hadn't been reviewed yet. On 11/20 the representative told me that the BC needed to be inextensa and the marriage license. True enough I had sent an extracto. But requested a supervisor review bc I knew the marriage lic was inextensa. 2 days later called again and got the same supervisor who told me that the marriage lic needed the proper signed legalizada (sticker on the back)

Sent necessary documents/Received: 11/20/14 and 11/26/14

Called 12/15/14: got Arthur....after he checked and verbally spanked he sent me to supervisor Silvia who said she would pull my file and try to figure it out.

Case complete: 12/19/14 Sylvia called and left a voicemail, called and confirmed later that night and status changed to N/A.

Thank you so much Sylvia. May God bless you and your family.

does anyone know if i receive NOA2 today, how long does NVC allow the entire application to be submitted (things like AOS, fees)?

I know that once you are interviewed by the US consulate, you must come to the US w/in six months. But I don't know how long NVC requires everything to be submitted.

Unlike many people here, I'm trying to stall the process as long as possible because my mother doesn't want to come to the USA too soon. In other words, she wants to get her green card as late as possible.

any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

You can drag it out long as you ant just don't pay the fee or anything until you are ready. As long as you have contacted NVC within a year of them receiving you and keep contact your case stays active.

So say your file arrive July 1st. You call them September or heck March 2015 and get your case # the clock starts ticking from that last contact. So you would be good a year from March 2015.

The beauty of the IR1/CR1 you can drag it out a long time.

When most people said that it means appproved a few days later! Sop, I figured, they must have put my app on the side to wait fopr processing. So I called and put an expedite as there is a fever going on in my husband country and said well, everyone is getting sick and I can't risk him getting sick. They email me saying they are considering it. I called them everyday from then on. I manage to get to a tier 2 today and told her if they did not tell me what considering it, I would have my congressman do a congressional inquiry. She said her or the congressman can do. She said but we wont do both. I said, go ahead and do it. She said Ok - they will let you know if they approve the expedite in 5 days. Well, I just check my i130 is approved. ONE MONTH! Please let me know asap, this is really great news!

Also, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
