OMG! I just got a text from the USCIS!!!!!!

Your case LINXXXXXXX is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov.

So then I just checked my case status and it reads this -

On June 3, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

What does all of this mean? Please help! I'm nervous and excited at the same time!

Marriage: 12-23-13 in England
Service Center: Nebraska Service Center

Consulate: London, England

USCIS:

Most who report it within a short time (days) they get approved. Usually means they have your hands on your petition. So hang on. Hope you been reading up on the NVC process (see my signature below and click on the Wiki).

That's what I got yesterday morning, approved last night!!! It's a great day for the UK!!! Well, more like a great day for America moving closer to some awesome people coming across!! haha

Britishinfusion Congratulations. that means your approval is coming. Cross your fingers for me!! we have the same PD. Feels so good to know that NSC is touching a JAN petition. I've seemed to notice from thorough browsing on this website I-130's from UK and Canada are approved sooner than ones from more developing countries like INDIA(which happens to be where my husband is).. :( haha...I bet the background check is intense for that one, i'm assuming that's the hold up!! whatever it is...COME ON NSC!!!

Hang in there. There seems to be no order that uscis is following. If you call USCIS they are saying Nebraska is working on December 3rd, but there have been a few people who were approved from January....

your NOA1 receipt and mine are the same at and at NSC. Here's hoping I get some news, really nervous about a RFE :/

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!
