I checked online AT LEAST 10 times today, then at about 7p (MTN Time) I got the email saying approved. Just checked online and it is in "Post Decision Activity".

I'll probably look at it at least 15 times tomorrow!!

I would have done the same :) Congrats again and good luck moving to the next step!

Congratulations on all approved!!

Were also Jan 17th but at NSC, it seems that Texas and Vermont Service Centers are moving along! Hang in there too! Were doing our best but getting impatient!

I think TSC is moving at mach speed to get their average down to the national average. They only just started receiving I-130s at the end of last year so they must have ramped up to handle the load and it's finally paying off.

Hopefully the other centers go just as fast!!

Thanks for the support britishinfusion.. but this entire process is so frustrating.. and it frustrates me more that I see folks getting approved with a date that is a lot later than ours and from the same service center. I’m not hating on them or anything, but it’s just not fair and I don’t understand what criteria USCIS is using to process these applications.

I agree this entire process is frustrating and does seem unfair at times doesn't it? My hubby arrives in the States in a few weeks and is leaving before the 90 days are up. We just want to spend the summer together as it's our 3rd one. So if we get the NOA2 approved and he has to go back to England for the interview then we will just change his flight. But I've heard now the NVC takes 3-4 months to schedule the interview. So were ready for more waiting ahead. I did meet with a lady from my congressman's office and she did tell me the I-130 process takes well over a year :( I wanted to cry when I heard her say that.

So the uscis site was updated from march 31st to april 30 which claims five months. let's see if they can own up to that! From the december thread it doesn't seem that way. My fellow jan. 17 filers.. 14 more days til our five months!!
