Just got notification that they have sent I130 to NVC today..

On May 1, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Ok So our I-130 has been sent to NVC in Portmouth, NH and I called them to inquire and also just to give them a prodding, They said they have 30 days to enter it into the computer. I recommend using an app if you have a smart phone and plan to call them. It is an auto re-dialer, because it's always busy, after about 10 minutes I got through. I asked just a few questions...I asked if there is a processing time for granting the visa, she said no, but 30 days to enter the information and send out to my wife and I, I also asked if she could go and do the medical exam before receiving the paperwork and Interview, she informed me that the medical exam has to be done the day before the interview. However the Police check can be done any time and is good for 6 months. I am just guessing but I think in 2 weeks we will be receiving the paperwork, and Cambodia processes very fast.

Got NOA2 email for my step son that his I-130 was approved, so I called NVC to check on status of my wife's and I advise anyone that plans on calling to use an app for android that auto dials until you get through. It dialed continuously for about 15 minutes before I got through. She said they have 30 days to enter into the computer, so I'm hoping in 1 to 1 1/2 month my family will be together.

Okay not to rain on your parade but the 30 days at best is your casefile getting entered. It's taking 4 to 8 weeks to get a case#. Then you have to pay fees and send in your AOS and IV packages that's another 20 to 30 days for each package.

Then the bad part is Cambodia is not fast scheduling they are a 3 to 4 month wait from case complete to interview scheduled. They aren't fast at all.

If you are planning to try and expedite at NVC maybe that will shave off a few months maybe. Wishing you the best.

Here's the interview spreadsheet. There's a few from your country there.

Hey dwheels76, got a question for you since I understand you're a master of spreadsheets!!

I was just looking at the ir-1/cr-1 I-130 Canada spreadsheet and note that there was only 1 noa-2 posted for all of February and only 1 in march. What's that all about? None for April? USCIS not allowed to process cases from Canada in April??

Oh my, I'm trying to be optimistic but the more I research data to gain confidence in USCIS, the more I depressed I become. Why does it seem other countries are processing faster than Canada???

I did request to have it expedited but didn't receive any notification if it had been, they have just been working really fast on it, on the Embassy website it says approximate 5 days to process visa, I will just continue to call and get updated, seemed to work for USCIS.

Thats after interview. The interview is scheduled through NVC and its a wait. When approved for your embassy yes its 5 days.

Keep on NVC and ask and ask. They still open 20 more minutes. If you have good evidence to expedite go for it.

give yhem a call asap

Yes we called there. There was a lil change in address like pin number or street number they added.. I want to know that is this means that they have touched our file and now they are verifying all documents. I am actually eager to know about this. Because most of the times, those who got this type of mail got NOA2 or approval.

Can anyone give information for this?

Thank you in advance.

I already submitted I-130 for my wife and received the PD which is January 29th from VSC. I always check the status of my case online and still in initial review stage. The VSC processing time on USCIS website mentioned that it will take 5 months or less. If your PD is around January 29th, Did you receive decision letter from VSC yet?

Do you prefer to call them soon or should I wait a little more?
