Fox news is an apologist of the Republican party. MSNBC is definitely in the Socialist class warfare business. They are both trash. I do know that this lady has to be fired in fairness to what any other has received.

I personally wish we had forgiven and given 2nd chances in the past. She has to be treated the same.

She does not deserve to be fired, because, although the racist comments occurred on her show, she was not the person responsible for them, unlike Alec Baldwin, or Martin Bashir.

Also, the Romney family have accepted her apology, so it is time to move on.

As for MSNBC, the propensity for faux pas appears to be growing. Either that, or their control of their internal looney fringe is lacking. Somehow, I doubt this will be the last time the network makes headlines for the wrong reasons.

That still doesnt make the woman or MSNBC socialist. Since when did anyone describe a corporate enterprise socialist? Its got nothing to do with the government.

Should she be fired? Personally I don't believe so but if her employer thinks she breached the terms of her employment contract they have that right.

I wonder why there is this fixation with minor figures in the media - seems like a lot is made over very little.

I think what happens is those in MSNBC are so far "in the bubble" that it is easy to assume everyone kinda thinks like they do.

This is not unique to them, socially most people surround themselves with like minded people which is why a number of talking heads were so surprised that Bush was re-elected. They didn't know anyone who wanted to vote for him.

MHP is a Black militant, that her calling card and if she would have though more deeply about it, she would have realized that she is a "token" of sorts on MSNBC but instead she could only see tokenism..... in the Black child on Grandpas knee.
