I've been trying to log into my account on the USCIS to check the status of my AOS. When I do, I get the following message:

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
  • Your account has been locked for one of the following reasons:
    (1) Account inactivity.
    (2) Too many unsuccessful login attempts.

I check this every third day, so I know account inactivity is not the problem. I have also never mistyped my password more than once, so I am pretty sure that I do not have too many unsuccessful login attempts.

Nonetheless, the message says that I must correct those errors. Problem is, there are no instructions on how to do so.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I would ask this on the USCIS web site, but you already know that they do not have a way to send web site questions.

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. There's a link where you can change your password, just below it.

I've changed mine and I don't have problems anymore.
