when i was in the PI in May 2011, big billboards that the world will end on May 21st.Same hoopla in US. The low mass thinkers never consider time zones. I was sitting in the Cebu airport at 12:01 AM on the 22nd. I was happily able to share to all my US friends the world was still here.

Editor's Update for Dec. 11: RIP Comet ISON, we miss you. Comet ISON has officially been declared extinct after its close slingshot around the sun on Nov. 28. Initial hopes that some of the comet survived the solar passage were short-lived as it soon became clear the comet was destroyed by the sun encounter.

Should a good Christian be driving during this time of rapture? Maybe God will not take you into heaven if during so causes harm to other people. Of course, anybody left would be a sinner, so they deserve what they get.
