What's going on? No NOA1

Still waiting on the NOA1 hard copy 35 days passed since we received receipt number via e-mail.My hubby called USCIS service center and they told him that NOA1 hard copy is not important at all,the most important thing is recept number .I'm still worried.

If I'm not mistaken, end of Nov. filers and December filers were sent directly to the Service Centers, and are not getting MSC case numbers anymore.

Absolutely, most of the Dec 2013 filers apparently got sent to Nebraska Service Center and got LIN#########, not MSC#########.

It's a good idea to always send the G-1145 on top of the WHOLE pile so at least you get an email or text message stating the case number and that it was received. Also after that sign up for an account if you can see your case online so that you're updated as to when the NOA2 comes in vs waiting for a paper copy (that's how I found out about ours.... )

Also it's good to note that people who live abroad together may or may not get the hard copy NOA1. The USCIS is horrible at sending out the hard copies to non-USA addresses.

The petitioner can certainly call the USCIS and find out what the number is though if you haven't gotten it yet but the check has been cashed!

What lin and msc means?

We checked the money order and they havent even cash out the money yet! So that means they havent even start or whatevee! TERRIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

LIN or MSC etc.. is the first 3 letter of your USCIS number. They tell you where your file has gone and are the letters the USCIS uses to designate the service center initially assigned to your case.

Nothing else you can do at this point. Hard to speak with someone in USCIS if you don't have a receipt number or if you're still within the average wait times

This process is a about a year long in the best of cases. Ya need to get a hobby and relax a little. We all know that it's hard to do, but it's really important.

Im just pissed cause on the immigration office they told us 3-5 months and as i see is the same with k3 visa. They told us k3 will take around a year. Thats the reason we didnt get marry while i was there. We would be married now and make the whole process together.

k3 is obsolete. It likely would have been a CR1 which is about a year.

Also please note, you're posting in the CR1/IR1 forum, not the K1.

Well with the CR1 which is the spousal visa, you'll still need to go back to your home country.

21 Days and counting. :-[

I talked to USCIS Customer Center and they told me I'm still within 30 day period. If I go over that I do an infopass - I'm not gonna info pass just for this they should be able to pull a tracking number out and see where the package is; I don't think Holidays would backlog mail to such an extent where I can't get my NOA1 (I-797).
