XM Statellite - Latin Stations

Alegría - Latin Urban

Feel the movement. A new wave of sound is emerging. Alegria is feeding the Latin Urban movement with bouncy rhythms and hip, urban pop sounds. Experience a blend of reggaeton, rap and hip-hop from pioneers like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Akwid, Ivy Queen, Luny Tunes, Orishas, Crooked Stilo, Zion & Lennox, Pitbull, Vico C, Tego Calderon and many more. Plus, catch an exclusive audio version of the International Music Feed's "Bodega Beats" hosted by B-Real of Cypress Hill.

Caliente (Tropical Paradise)

Distant peoples and distant places come together in an uplifting, high energy musical exploration of equally enchanting, yet vastly distinctive flavors of tropical sounds from the Americas. Like a sultry breeze wafting from south of the border, Caliente delivers the spicy essence of tropical sounds. What you will hear....Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Ozomatli, Brenda K. Starr, Pacheco, Charanga Habanera, Los Van Van, Adalberto Alvarez, El Gran Combo, Son By Four

Luna (The Latin Heartbeat)

From Havanna to Rio de Janeiro, from Santo Domingo to Buenos Aires, it's an intoxicating sound full of fire, passion, spirit and rhythm like no other. With artist's like Chano Dominguez, Arturo O'Farrill, Mongo Santamaria, Cal Tjader, Chucho Valdes and Poncho Sanchez. Latin Jazz smokes on Luna.

Aguila (The Many Accents of Regional Mexican Sounds)

Ultra contemporary and, at the same time, traditional, folksy and classic, Aguila is a fluid, ground-breaking celebration of norteño, tejano, cumbia, banda, mariachi, rancheras and other influences. Warm and sensuous, Aguila has a unique regional Mexican Flavor all its own. What you'll hear... Joan Sebastian, Jennifer Peña, Norteno (El Poder Del Norte, Huracanes Del Norte), Ranchera (Pedro Fernandez, Pablo Montero), Tejano (Control, Lupillo Rivera), CumbiaM (Los Angeles Azules, Mazz), Banda (Banda Del Recodo, Banda Arkangel R-15)

they serve all kinds of alcholic drinks there

Italian margarita...

amaretto almond liqueur

sweet and sour mix

Jose Cuervo® Especial gold tequila

triple sec

looks like the difference between Mexican and Italian is the Italians add almond liqueur to the margerita

I would run over there and try one, but I ate too many girl scout cookies today. They should make margarita cookies.....the girl scouts would be rich.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
