What is the process before Visa is issued?

Hello fellow VJers!

Within in the pass few days my case went from AP to Ready and now back to AP. The case creation date changed to Jan 2nd and it changed from Immigrant to Nonimmigrant yesterday. Also the date changed again today. Is this good news? Thanks in advance.....
