Hello Everyone. Thanks once more for your contribution so far since we started our Fiance visa Journey.I just received my packet 3 instruction from the Finland Consulate and it shows that i have to submit the DS-160 form online. After reading some information online, it shows that i have to upload a digital photo when filling the form. Please those who have used this form of recent should tell me if it is compulsory to upload the photo and if they took their own digital photo personally or went to a digital studio to do that and get the soft copy to be uploaded.i just want to make sure i have all the requirements before i start filling the form. Thanks

I received the same letter requesting that I fill out form DS160; but I didn't. My fiance received a letter form the US Embassy in the country he is in, and that letter states for him to fill out the DS-260.

Are you in the US or Finland? Are you the sponsporer?

I know my fiancee just used the same picture as the ones she submitted with our 1-129F packet. We had them digitally stored on computer.

You can use this link to better understand uploading a photo. Scroll down, picture info is towards the bottom.

Yes, you need to upload a passport photo when filling out the DS-160. http://travel.state.gov/visa/forms/forms_4401.html

K-1 applicants fill out the DS-160, not the DS-260. The DS-260 is used for visas such as a spousal visa, not for the K-1 visa.

During the process, we took about 3 to 4 different sets of passport photos. With whats at risk, I was not taking any chances of being denied or AP'd because the passport photo was not current withing 30, 60,or 90 days. No way.

Each photo set, we received a *;jpg copy of the photos.

This is what you need to upload on the DS-160 web site.
