Police Clearance Certificate in India

Hello everyone! I am in the queue having submitted the I-130 for my wife. While it is taking a long time to get NOA-2, I want to start planning the documents needed for the NVC stage. My wife used a different name in her childhood, which I noted in the I-130. Would the police clearance certificate need to be in every name (listed using an 'aka')? Does somebody have experience with this - either being able to get such a certificate from the passport office, or not needing it to be in every name? Thanks everyone, and good luck!

Use the same name one in her passport and I-130. Are they same name or two different name in passport and I-130?

Thanks for replying. The names on the passport and I-130 are the same (say ABC), but in reply to the question on I-130 where it says "All other names used" there is an additional name (say XYZ). So if the PCC says "ABC" rather than "ABC aka XYZ", is it going to be a problem at NVC or embassy? If we really need "ABC aka XYZ" to satisfy the NVC people, then how do we do that in the passport office?

If you mention ABC aka XYZ IN I-130 You have to have PCC under both names. If PCC says ABC aka XYZ not a problem at all ( That is the way PCC does in US) That is the way they supposed to do. You only need to do aka XYZ in pcc if you mention in I-130.
