my husbanad applied my visa from u.s.a . i got married in 2012. i had an interview on 2 january 2014 in islamabad ambassy . officer gave me green slip 221g. he kept my passport and said that ur visa is approved and ur case is under admininstrtive process it can take several weeks or several months ..plz tell me how much time requird for this procedure.is officer give same green slip to every one whos cases are pending same words written on green slip for every one or words different for others ..

aww sad why they are so slow

I hate to inform you but Islamabad embassy is really slow.. My husband was interviewed in August. We are still waiting. Lately, we have seen good progress especially for new interviews.. Good Luck.. Keep praying..

i am upset and furstrated. after one and half year thy send me an interview letter after interview they gave me green slip and said it can take several weeks or months how much longer i can't wait anymore

this is very common thing in Pakistan that CO gives a green letter...... Me and my family are also suffering from this slow process since MAY 13

My husband was also in AP.

He was told the same words by the CO. The time varies from person to person in AP.

My husband was in AP for a month.

You should check the status of his case on the website www.ceac.gov ... Double check if the website I gave by checking on the green slip given to your husband.

My husband is from Egypt and needed new co sponser and we sent it in he was on AP almost 9 months the CO told him it was manatory and not to worry about it lol are they kidding usheadbonk.gif makes you sad crazy, angry and so many feelings mixed up...............What I noticed is when on the website is updating alot without you emailing them that's when it's coming to a conclusion in the case soon.
