My friend Nicole was a spitting image of a famous singer named Aaliyah. The hardest part of that friendship was dealing with all the other soldiers in Fort Hood. She used to be a chaplain assistant until the good pastor(LTC) tried to put the moves on her, so they transferred her down to the motor pool. I saw so many men from privates to officers go after her, it wasn't until my MSG came to my room at 2100 one night looking for her(she was in my room because she didn't want to be by herself in that situation) that I realized how serious it was. You know as well as I do, in the military it doesn't matter. It's about power and control, no matter what Danno says. By his account, only pretty women get assaulted, does the same go for handsome men?

We'd had a few drunken rapes in my unit and I wasn't going to let anything happen to her. She started to come on to me, I figured it was the alcohol talking and resisted doing anything. She fell asleep afterwards. But after that day, she has told me that there was something there, I just never took the shot.

You know Danno, I was not even going to respond. If you can't understand why attractive women might have more of a problem with inappropriate sexual conduct, then you are either lying or dumb as a mud puddle. Neither worth my time

What is so hard for me to believe how any sizable number of people could swallow such nonsense.

It's alarming.

When you look through history at other times when the masses were guided to believe absurdities, you can now see how easy it is.

I mean we are talking about "Boy meets girl" stuff and these people are so guided in thought, they disregard what any 5th grader knows,

it is stunning.

One thing I am certain of, there is more to come. When people "choose" to believe a lie, there is more to come.
