Packet 3 being sent out by the embassy on 12th December but I didn't get the packet.

Emailed embassy on the 19th and got a reply on the 20th December asking me to wait 3-4 weeks for the letter to reach me. I still did not get my packet 3. CEAC last updated date.

I called DOS on 24th December and they said packet 3 are being send out on 12th December and I should request for a new packet to be sent out to me.

25th December, I downloaded packet 3 online and send that scanned copy out on 26th December morning on express mail.

Arrived at the embassy on 27th December 4pm. Assuming they check their mail box on the 30th December, won't they update my status on CEAC? According to people interviewing in the same country as me, once the embassy received their packet 3, CEAC get updates.

Last updated on CEAC : 20th December 2013.

Last updated on CEAC : 20th December 2013.

I know we have a different consulate that may have a different regulation regarding K-1 visa process. But speaking about CEAC status update, I've got last update on November 8 and US embassy in Jakarta sent my fiance email asking my updating info on November 12. Unfortunately my fiance did not see the email and he sent an email to them asking our case file progress on December 17.

When my fiance got replied saying they already sent an email on November 12 by forwarding the previous one, my fiance quickly sent my info to them on December 17. Suddenly my status on CEAC changed to December 18 after embassy sent packet 3 by email.

My point is, you should get an update for any activities between you and US consulate regarding the process on CEAC. I'm assuming probably holidays delayed the update on the website?

Yay, that's relieving. dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif .

I do understand your worried. My fiance and I had that feeling too. My fiance started worried and kept asking me why he still did not get an email from the US embassy in Jakarta asking my info. He asked me many times regarding the process and I reassured him that he should get an email from the embassy.

Turned out he missed the email at the time when the embassy sent it . We got packet 3 more than a month after last update on CEAC whereas we were supposed to get it around November 13 . After all, we both are just feel blessed that could get it in time frame is allowed.
