Has any1 had birth cert issue durin interview @ the Lagos Embassy? I was asked to go get NPC birth cert and mail to em. My question really is will the visa b issued 1cs they recieve the npc cert?

Yes if that's all they ask for of course. Hurry and get it so they don't decide to delay you further. Please be sure you get the LONG FORM birth certificate.

I did not have my original birth certificate with me at my interview. They asked me to send the original to them and they would issue the visa right away. I did that immediately and received the visa a few days after they received my birth certificate!

Nau thats a relief... @Dwheels: which is the Long form birth cert? I was told above 18yrs old only get ATTESTATION. but imma ask of that long form whn i get bck there

Who told you after 18 years old? The long form is what the embassy wants to hear because it has all the informnation of paremts also. Get the long-form to not create more delay for you.

Got that info at the Npc office in surulere ooo.. Im pickin the birth cert from their office on monday, imma ask for that long form... Thank GOD for VJ. tanx a bunch @Dwheels

What is the long form thing? Just wondering cos ive lost my birth certificate long time ago and I was thinking of affidavit..... somebody clearify as well.
