Just a little technical question here ...

Should appropriate sections be stapled together in the initial K1 VISA package?

Example 1: the actual I-129f form stapled together (6 pages)

Example 2: a copy of a flight itinery stapled together within the "proof of relationship" section

OR

Is everything clipped together in a big package of single papers.

OR

Should the different section be clipped together, but not stapled ...

ORRRRRR

Does it actually matter??

Thank you for the help, we are hoping to mail out our package this weekend. biggrin.png

I agree don't use staples, use paperclips. The only exception to using staples, which I used for a previous petition, is to staple a ziplock bag to a blank sheet of paper to hold your pictures. For example, for the passport photos for both G-325A forms, and photos as proof of relationship.

No staples - it comes down to scanning documents. It slows down the process. Also in my younger years I had a job scanning mass amounts of documents, staples were my nemesis. Lol

Like everyone else mentioned, binder clips. Makes sense to use them to separate sections. And yeah, stapling a ziplock bag with pics I'm sure won't cause any issues

I stapled mine and not having any issue with it.

K1 (I-129F) petition filed in August 2013 (Approved Feb 20th 2014)
13th May 2014: AOS (I-485) & EAD/AP combo card
21st May 2014: NOA 1 and biometric letter
11th June 2014: biometric appointment
13th June 2014: RFE received via mail
16th June 2014: replied to RFE
6th August 2014: EAD Approved, AP still in initial review
12th August 2014: got tracking number for EAD
( ) August 2014: Received EAD (I forgot what date I got them but I did receive them less than 5 days from the 12th)
10th September 2014: Interview Waiver received (I wished I was interviewed)
April 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice
