I am aUS citizen filing for my Mother who is currently in the US, and staying with me as she will be living with me once immigration is complete.

My questions are:

When filling out form I130 section C it asks for the relatives address. My mother gave up her residence upon coming to stay with me, is it ok to put my address? Same with question 19 (address abroad) she currently doesnt have one. I hope this isn't a silly question, I'm just nervouse not to screw up the form and have it rejected.

Also this is her 5th consecutive month here, (arrived July31/2013) does that mean she needs to return to Canada, where she's from and file from there or can she stay and I start her proceedings here.

Thanks so much for any advise!

Liz
