How in the fudge can a criminal be admitted to the bar

well he is not a criminal in the view of the law as it stands now assuming his Father brought him across the border and he didn't purposely enter without inspection of his own accord. But I find the ruling to be very contradictory. By allowing him to practice law, he would automatically be violating other rules on the books some of which are criminal statutes.

The simplest of which is how he will be paid.

Brought in at age 2, he returned to Mexico, then re-entered illegally at age 17.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

He can practice law under California law, having met the requirements as stated in California law, but he is barred from joining a law firm under Federal law. So, he will strike out on his own, and become a practicing personal injury attorney, as if we need any more ambulance chasers.

Passing the California Bar Exam is no easy task, so kudos to him for that.

That is the part that surprised me the most... I hear the Calif Bar Exam is not for those lacking intestinal fortitude!
