N-400 - JANUARY 2014 FILERS

I was interviewed in Santa Ana, CA for N400 application last August and passed, but I have not received any update about my oath yet. Everytime I called to follow up, they told me to just wait as there's nothing they could tell me. I am getting impatient, esp after reading a few here who had their oath taking soon after fhe interview! The next oath sched in LA shown is before end of Oct, but since I haven't seen any update on my status, I doubt if I will be in that one! Will they also have oath scheds for Nov & Dec for OC, California residents? Would any of you know? Thanks.

I noticed if it is marriage-based, fhe process in general is faster (towards oath, I mean). I opted not to file based on marriage since I am past 5 yrs anyway, so maybe that's why am at fhe bottom of fhe list. Orange County (7.4 months) office is slower than Los Angeles (has 5 months avarage only)! Good luck to us!

Yes, it's Santa Ana Office. I file based on 5 years green card issuance.

Anyone else have any idea why there's a delay in some cases like mine? My case is very straightforward, no issues, no past records, no travel within the past 7 years, and filed in 5 yrs of being a greencard holder.

I initially requested for a name change (from maiden to married name), then cancelled that request with the interviewer when he asked if I want a name change.

He told me my oath is between 1 - 2 months (from 8/25 interview date.

I'd like some inputs, just for my peace of mind. Thank you!

It has been 48 days after my interview, and still no change in my online status and no updates - not even inline for oath. So I requested for an infopass appointment for this month. Anyone has experience doing an infopass appointment for N400 application?
