Here is my updated status online - On April 8, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date the notice is mailed, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

I have to share my experience before I get to this status. My application placed in line for interview last February 27, within 90 days I must wait for updates....then waiting time started. I checked almost everyday my online status thru uscis.gov site and decided to create a profile so that I can received updates via email. The next status I received was On March 31 my application was placed in line for Interview. There you go ..( panic mode!) , I did a little math with this status. I have to wait additional 30 days!. I decided to inquire about what is going on. I called customer service then informed me that I do not have to worry since my application is still within standard processing time. I am very anxious to get this application done. However ,there's nothing I can do but wait. I still checked online although I already register for email notification, I can not help myself but check. I noticed the status changed , on April 7 your application was placed in for interview!. Ok that's it ,I said to myself - I give up tracking this application. But then, today I received an email notification that on April 8 it was scheduled for interview. And... the stress to study seriously for the civic test begin!. I have to watch my mailbox now.. My mom filed in January as well and her receipt date is 1/15/2014 and to this day she is yet to receive her biometrics notice. So, you're not alone Worried_joel.

On April 2, 2014 I helped my mom draft a letter to USCIS asking about her biometrics notice. This was following no positive response by phone ("Just wait" is something you get tired hearing over the phone) and a failed e-request sent end of February.

I hope that we hear something soon!

I have not received my Finger Print biometric at all. Received my receipt on the 1/24/2014. Sigh.... they got my money but did not work on my case!

we are filing for citizenship this month but do have to have certified copies of IRS records I have copies from my accountant can anyone help with this?

Call USCIS and request to be transferred to a Tier 2 Officer. I had the same problem as your mom. This worked for me.

Happy day - looked at my daughter's status today and it says they've scheduled her for an interview as of last Thurs - here's hoping we get the letter today, the suspense is killing us.

I received my Interview letter today. Notice date is April 8. The Schedule of interview will be on May 15 Thursday at 08:15Am! Please someone update my status in my timeline . Need to study harder for the civic test! Thanks everyone! And Congratulations to all who has their red font status!

My applicationsstatus has been in-line for interview since Jan 31 and still the same today. I did receive a notice 3 weeks back telling me to bring a couple of things for the interview. But that's been it since. Closing in on the 90-day window so I'm hopeful of getting something soon.

I went to the interview today. Passed the test. But there was one year time my hubby and I didn't live together every day. We had jobs in different states with 3-hour distance. So he drove back to home and stay 3 days a week for that year until I finally moved to his state 2 years ago. So the officer said it wasn't full 3 years of living together. But he didn't deny my case but want more evidence. Waiting for the letter to see what evidence they want. My husband came with me today. The officer talked to my husband with me sitting out in the waiting room. Then called me in to tell us what we need to do next.

The worst scenario is to reapply next year

Oh no! I have a similar situation - my wife and I had the same 'permanent address' where our mail was being sent etc, but she spent like 3 months abroad this past year. I'll probably run into the same issue. Hopefully they'll be understanding...

I have very odd correspondances from USCIS after I had my interview at 10:30 today.

At 12:00 noon, I got this in the email

"Your Case Status: Request for Evidence

On April 15, 2014, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail."

At 6:15 PM, I got this

"Your Case Status: Request for Evidence Response Review

On April 15, 2014, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our COLUMBUS, OH location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. I didn't even get the letter and didn't submit any responses. Why it said they received the responses?

Is this odd? I start to panic now.
