ita a case wen a us citizen filed for an immediate relative.. and nvc means national visa centre..pls help if u can.. tnx

Still don't understand your question. But either way nothing gets processed in a week or two. Everything takes time. For anything in uscis you need to wait 90 days before they can give you an update. Since you said you replied only on Dec 11 for the RFE I would sit tight for another 90 days before calling them. You can call them now but all you will get is the same response that it is under process.

I'm sorry I'm no help. I do agree with the previous poster though that all you can do right now is wait. December 11 was not long ago especially not when it comes to USCIS

Lets keep the thread for the Jan filers for the citizenship, if he or anyone asks about anything in another topic, i would suggest that he/she ask in the right place so they get more help and we keep the topic consistant here, It seems that he is still in the green card process or visa process, not quite sure, any way, thanks tho for ur help to him, u r a nice person!

Better try calling the NVC for an update of your case...I guess that's the best thing you could do.

I am filing for citizenship under the 3-year married to an American citizen rule. I am applying on form N-400. I am confused about question 7 and would appreciate any guidance of clarification.

Question 7 reads:

A: How many total days did you spend outside the US in the last 5 years?

Since I am applying under the 3-year rule, that means that during the last 5-uears, I have been outside the US for 2 years (730 days). During the last 3 years, I have lived continuously in the US at the same address. However, the question asks for the last 5 years? Not really sure what to put.

I am repeating my question below, since we now are a little bigger group maybe someone can give their input. Thanks!

What do you enter under this question: Have you ever been a member of or associated with any organization, association, fund, foundation, party, club, society, or similar group in the United States or in any other place?

I am a member of associations in regards to my job and have of course been a member of other groups and organizations in my life. How detailed are you when filling this out? Are you naming ALL groups (non-political) even non-professional groups where you might have been a member when you where young?
