Convert Private Conversation to New Thread?

I have responded to a private message and it has turned into a conversation which: (a) might be useful to others in similar situations; and (b) might benefit from input from people with closer experience to the OP's.

Is there any way to convert a private conversation into a thread other than copying the entire conversation to a new thread (after getting the OP's permission of course)?

tenyearwait was chosen when we passed the ten year point without any sight of a green card in any possible future and my wife and I assumed I would never get one - it's now twelve years but who's counting! ;O|

Yeah. Only c&p.

Also, :time: Intrigued by your signature, but your timeline is empty.

Edit: Never mind! Just read your bio. Crazy! The processes you started out on wouldn't even fit in the timelines. Good luck getting everything sorted out!

Yeah I'd love to complete my Timeline, but I doubt it would help anyone else. Actually I HOPE it wouldn't have to help anyone else. I still hope to do a Timeline using "Remarks" but it's not vital as it was such a weird case. However my case was resolved and I got my Green Card so I'm just helping the rare others who had the misfortune to have their spouse die during the application process.
