Hi, I'm filling out the I-134 AFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT and there is a box that asked the state where my fiance is living. The state is Volgograd but I cannot type Volgograd because it does not give me enough room. The reason I am typing it is because my handwriting is bad. I want it to be readable and look professional. So, how do I abbreviate Volgograd, when it only allows me to type TWO letters in the box?

I doubt there is an official 2 letter abbreviation for Volgograd.. Why not have someone with better hand writing fill out the form with you then sign it?

Or make an amendment page directing that question number to a separate page and type Volgograd as the answer?

Nah. Do you think I could leave that blank and then print it out and simply write in "VOG" or does it all have to be printed or typed, not printed and typed? Maybe I'll just practice writing it and then go with the best looking copy.

I doubt they will care if it is all printed or all hand written. I am at work so I couldn't open the link but I think I found a site that says the abbreviation for Volgograd is VG. VOG is for their airport.

Ah and another question as I am unemployed, I was going to put "Unemployed, reference attachment" and then just attach a paper explaining that I've been living in Russia the past five months without a work permit so I have not had employment. What do you guys think? Should I do that or should I just put "Unemployed" without an explaination. I will be attending the interview with my fiance so if they have questions when they read it, they can ask me directly.

hi, are you above the poverty line? i recommend to ask this question not in RUB forum but in general, people there will be able to answer this specific question ( i mean there were already similar questions from people that are in the same situation as u ), my opinion is this: if you are currently unemployed and u sponsor ur K-1, what kind of docs u submit as a prove of income?

before putting something in ur form, i recomend to first see what docs u add for financial support....just to be on a safe side and not commit a mistake.

Kinda rolled my eyes with this one but I can't expect everyone to know my situation. With that said, I have a sponsor. There is nothing more that I need to say. I asked a question and hopefully it will be answered soon so I can continue to fill out my form. So can anyone tell me what I should do?

no need to be rude by rolling eyes about sponsor i assumed but forgot to put, so chill...again as i said read in K-1 general forum there were million answers for people unemployed and with a co-sponsor.

good luck and hope u will be more picky with experssing urself when people post trying to help u, i am not offended but surprised with the ¨rolled eyes part¨ all the best with warmest wishes
