As much as I can understand your desire to look ahead, my advice is to take the immigration process one step at a time. I don't remember even looking at the I-485 until after my wife and I got married. Up to that point, we'd had our hands full with the K1 process and preparing for our wedding. If you try to wrap your mind around the entire process all at once it can be quite overwhelming. Obtaining information on a "need to know" basis can help keep you from going insane from all the bureaucratic nightmare that the immigration process can be.

I disagree. Too many people run into some degree of difficulty by not knowing their ultimate destination and how to get there while running from point to point along the way. Keep you head up enough to see both the near and the far objectives or you may run into a low-hanging limb that you won't realize is there if you keep you head down looking only at the ground immediately in front of you.

I poked my head in the AOS forum when I had time while we were waiting for the visa. The people were eager to help. They gave me a lot of helpful advice about watching out for the DS 3025 and the I 94 at the airport. I understood the sealed package and a little about what would happen when Lucero arrived.

I agree that it is not time to stress about it but a little information can keep the stress down.
