Visa has been Issued after 7 months & 3 days of AP

Alhamdulillah our AP is finally over after 7 months & 3 days and my fiance's visa has been Issued... The case status changed today to Issued after 2 days of us dropping off the Passport and New Medical to the Embassy. He will be able to go and pick it up on Sunday Jan. 5th, 2014 Inshaa'Allah.

I would like to thank everyone on VJ for there help.This forum was definitely a big help. If you are still waiting for your NOA1, NOA2, interview, approval or Visa, just hang in there I am sure it is on its way. With the thanks of ALLAH almighty.

Congrats .. how many times the date has changed before they change it to issued .. i have been in ap for 7 months excatly now . Hope my ap gonna end soon ..

Our case would get updated once a month or so... and then on the 30 of Nov. it was updated then, on the 2nd of Dec. and then Dec.7th, after that on the 12th of
Dec. they e-mailed us to drop off passport with a new medical .. which we did on the 30th and then case was updated on the 31st and then today on the 2nd it says Issued !!!

Thats great for you .. wish you a very happy life .. our case has been 7 months on ap now .. they updated it twice themselves on the same month of my interview .. then it just get updated each time we email them only .. but we emailed them twicw month ago and they replird back without updating it online on ceac .. is that wired or its ok ?. What you think ? Thanks for sharing your story with me ..

They would always update our case when ever we e-mailed them... I don't know why they didn't update yours.

hi,

My husband is in u.s. he applied my visa I got marreid in 2012 .i had interview on 2 january 2014 before 2 days in islamabad ambaasy.I got green slip. he kept my passport and officer said that ur visa is approved and case placed under administative processing.it can take several weeks or several months what does it mean,,, and how long how much time required for this AP. is officer give same green slip to everyone who's case are pending or written words in green slip are different form every one ..plz tell me how much time required for this procedure .whats is the meaning of green slip 221g...

Administrative Process can take a few weeks or months it's different for everyone.. Hopefully your's won't take that long.. Just pray that it doesn't take that long.. Best of Luck..
